Quran & Islam Course for New Muslims
Welcome to Your Journey as a New Muslim
Saying the Shahada is just the start of your journey, not the end of one. Most new Muslims do not yet know how to pray, read Arabic, or where to start with the Quran — and that is completely normal.
This course starts from zero: no prior Arabic, no prior Quran reading, and no assumptions about what you already know.
A Free Sponsorship Program for New Converts
We have a special sponsorship program just for new converts. Money should not stop you from learning the Quran or Islam. We are here to support you.
This program has limited spots. It works on a first-come, first-served basis, and is funded by donations. See our fees & scholarship page for full details. Want to check if you qualify? Contact us directly.
Where Most New Muslims Start
There is no single required path. But most beginners start with two things at the same time:
- Arabic reading basics with Noorani Qaida. You learn the alphabet, the sounds, and the basic rules you need before you read the Quran.
- Salah (prayer) and daily practice. You learn what to say, when to say it, and how to pray. We teach this alongside your Quran lessons, not as a separate course.
Do you already know some Arabic? Your tutor will test your level in the free trial class, then set your real starting point. Want to focus on Arabic first? Try our Arabic language course.
Who Teaches This Course
You can choose a male or female tutor. Every class is one-on-one, so your tutor can slow down, repeat things, and explain in plain language without a group falling behind.
