Dua for Travelling in English
Dua for traveling is one of the foremost Dua in 11 dua’s to teach your kids at home. The Dua for traveling is;
“Glory onto him who created this transportation, for us, though we could not create it on our own. And onto our Lord, we shall return.”
Dua for Travelling in Arabic
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ.
Whenever our beloved ones travel, we all want them to reach their destination safely. So, from an early age, teach your children to say this Dua when they travel, in which you thank Allah for providing us with cars and modes of transportation.
Furthermore, the Dua teaches children that we are all Allah’s people. Allah has brought us here for a reason, and at the end of the day, we must all return to him. This world is an illusion; reality awaits in the hereafter.
Dua for Sleeping and Waking Up
One of the short Duas to learn is the Dua after waking up. After waking up, one should recite,
“All praise belongs to Allah to the one who gave us life after he had given us death and to him is the resurrection.”
In this Verse, we express our gratitude to Allah, the Giver of Life. We do not know when we breathe our last. Death is inevitable, and its time is unknown to anyone except Allah. We are on the verge of death while sleeping. So, one should be grateful to Allah for providing us the opportunity to live after waking up from a deep slumber. Before sleeping, one should recite,
“In Your Name, O Allah, I live and die.”

Dua For Eating
One of the important Duas to learn is the Dua, which one should recite before eating, is
“In the name of Allah, and with the blessings of Allah I begin.”
And after finishing the meal, one should recite, “
All praise belongs to Allah who fed us and quenched our thirst and made us Muslims.”
So, basically, in these Dua’s, we are initiating our meal in the name of Allah to add the blessings of Allah and ending by thanking Allah who gave us food to eat.
Dua For leaving and Entering the House
One of the short Duas to learn is the Dua one should recite before leaving the house, that is,
“I depart with the name of Allah, relying on him. It is Allah who saves us from sins with his guidance.”
And one should recite, “O Allah, I seek a good entry and exit. We take Allah’s name to enter and to exit and rely on him who is our Lord.”

Dua For Changing Garments
One of the easy Dua’s to learn is that should be recited when changing the garments, which is,
“All praise belongs to Allah, the one who clothed me with his (cloth) and gave it to me without any power and ability from me.”
In this Dua, we thank Allah for giving us clothes and a sense to wear them. People didn’t know about clothing in the early centuries and used leaves to cover their bodies.
Dua After Sneezing
One of the important Duas to learn is the Dua one should recite after sneezing, that is,
“All praise is due to Allah.” And the other should say, “May Allah have mercy upon you.”
Dua For to Enhance the Knowledge
One of the important Duas for daily life is the Dua to enhance knowledge. This Dua is specifically for Children.
“O Allah, I ask you for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.”
Children should recite this Dua to enhance their knowledge to do well in exams.
Dua for Drinking Water
One of the 11 Dua’s to teach your kids at home is the Dua that children should recite when drinking water.
“O Allah, grant us blessings in it.” And after drinking water, one should recite, “All praise is due to Allah, who is of mercy has granted us sweet and pleasant water to drink and did not make it bitter and salty due to our sins.”
After drinking the water, children must recite these Dua to thank Allah for giving us water to drink.
